About Us
The Harvest Picnic Foundation Limited was established in 1988 with seed funding from the Victoria Council as part of Victoria’s Bicentennial Celebrations. The Harvest Picnic Foundation’s charter is to showcase the very best Victorian food and beverages. The Foundation aims to stage high quality events to a wide audience of food and wine lovers. We currently stage two events per year - The Age Harvest Picnic at Hanging Rock, and The Age Spring Harvest Picnic at Werribee Park.
The Harvest Picnic Foundation Limited is a not-for-profit organisation.
The board members of the Harvest Picnic Foundation have experience in tourism, hospitality, event management and business. The board members give their time and ideas to the continued operation of the Harvest Picnic Foundation. The Harvest Picnic Foundation would like to give special thanks to Jenny Kearney and to Robyn Aumann who have both recently resigned from the board of the Harvest Picnic. Thank you both - your contribution to the picnic has been great, and we hope to stay in touch!
