Welcome from the Harvest Picnic Foundation
The Harvest Picnic Foundation organises The Age Harvest Picnic at Hanging Rock (held on the last Sunday in February). The Harvest Picnic is an all-weather event - if it's rainy, bring a brolley; if it's warm, pack your sunhat. Regardless of the weather, there is still lots to see, do, taste and discover at the Harvest Picnic.
The picnics are a wonderful day out for families, friends and food lovers, featuring music on stage, cooking demonstrations by some of Australia's leading chefs and free activities for children.
Hospitality packages are available for 2013 and will be developed to meet your needs. We can also provide marquees for groups of friends, or more basic (but just as lovely) packages that include a clothed table and market umbrella for some stylish and easy picnic entertaining.
The Kid's Cupcake Competition will be new to Hanging Rock in 2013.
