New Branding for Harvest Picnic Foundation
In May of this year the Board of the Harvest Picnic Foundation decided that the Foundation’s branding was in need of updating, to keep it and the events it stages, both relevant and fresh.
One of our board members, Paris Singer, who is the Client Service Director of Acorn Brand Design, offered to work with his team to create a new, inspiring brand for the Foundation on a pro bono basis. His generous offer was eagerly accepted as the previous look and feel of the Foundation had been in existence since about 2000.
In the space of a few months, Acorn delivered a number of creative concepts, which ultimately resulted in this new look for the Foundation and for our two events – The Age Spring Harvest Picnic at Werribee Park and The Age Harvest Picnic at Hanging Rock.
As you will see in the coming months, our new look extends across all of our collateral including letterhead, website, brochures, post cards, advertising and much more.
We feel that the new look is modern, warm and inspiring, creating a sense of anticipation about the two harvest picnics. The new logo for The Age Harvest Picnic at Hanging Rock, (which is held at the end of February each year) features a rust coloured picnic rug, evoking the autumn months ahead. While the green rug for The Spring Harvest Picnic at Werribee Park (annually held at the end of November) depicts the freshness of Spring.
We hope you enjoy our new look and that you will be able to experience the fun and freshness of the harvest picnics in the months ahead!
