NEWS FLASH: THE HARVEST PICNIC WILL GO AHEAD RAIN OR SHINE. IF IT'S A LITTLE DRIZZLY, COME ANYWAY. IT WILL FINE UP BY THIS AFTERNOON. IT IS MELBOURNE, YOU KNOW - HOME OF FOUR SEASONS IN ONE DAY. WE HOPE YOU WILL JOIN US AT WERRIBEE PARK. OUR EXHIBITORS HAVE PREPARED LOTS OF DELICIOUS FOOD TO EAT!
The next Harvest Picnic at Werribee Park will be held on Sunday 27 November 2011.
At The Age Harvest Picnic at Werribee Park, food and wine producers from all over Victoria will gather in the magnificent grounds of Werribee Park to sample, showcase and sell their tasty products. Taste family-made jams and preserves, artisan breads, decadent cupcakes, handcrafted local ales and much more.
This is a wonderful day for families and friends and features cooking demonstrations by well known chefs, live music all day and free children’s activities.
Bring a blanket and basket and create a picnic from the delicious array of goods on offer. Stock the pantry in time for Christmas or buy Christmas presents for all your food-loving friends
Tickets cover admission to The Age Harvest Picnic at Werribee Park, Werribee Mansion, the Victoria State Rose Garden, cooking demonstrations, live music on stage, car parking, the visitor's program and a copy of The Sunday Age.
